Brief History

As skating popularity grew from its early beginnings in the 70’s, skate parks with rails and ramps began to become more common through the 1990’s and into the 2000’s. Now with many of these skate parks reaching the 15 to 25 year age, they are requiring long overdue maintenance. The lack of knowledge in correctly maintaining them creating significant hazards.

SkateCon have developed the knowledge to repair, maintain, carry out audits and offer expert advice to bring them up to a serviceable and safe level for all it’s users and stakeholders.
