Leaking Town Water Supply Project

Problem
A new concrete town water tank was constructed in large country town but the seal between the wall and floor leaked when tank was filled with water.
Scope of Works
After looking at the mechanical drawings and discussions with engineers we were able to come up with a method of repair involving the installation of injection ports every 200mm around the 180metre circumference of the tank. A hydrophilic polyurethane was then injected into the voids within the wall and floor joint where it proceeded to halt the water leaks and creating a continuous seal around the tank.
