Sewer Pit Project
DISCOVER WHAT MAKES US BETTER
Problem
The sewer pit had been quite severely damaged by the hydrogen sulphide gas emitted from the raw sewage and the concrete had been severely eaten away.
Scope of Works
The damaged areas of concrete had to be mechanically removed back to a solid base and the entire pit washed down and neutralised.
A high build, 2 part chemical resistant membrane was then applied in 3 layers. Each layer at opposite angle to the first, resulting in a completely sealed sewer pit, impervious to the effects of the hydrogen sulphide.
